Musician He Xiaoming graduated from Wuhan Conservatory of Music with a major in composition and conducting. He also obtained a master's degree in conducting from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in the UK. With over 40 years of experience in the arts, he has held prominent roles such as conductor and composer for the Hunan Broadcasting and Television Orchestra. He has conducted several choirs and ensembles in the Bay Area, including the Silicon Valley Youth Symphony, Antaris Chamber Orchestra, and California Chinese Orchestra. Currently, he serves as the conductor of the California Youth Chinese Music Ensemble, as well as the president of the Chinese-American Performing Arts. He is also involved in music production and education, dedicated to promoting arts education and nurturing musical talents, making continual contributions to the development of the music and arts.
Mr. He Xiaoming has successfully directed multiple large-scale National Day galas in the Bay Area, such as "China Night." He has also been invited to serve as a judge for the overseas divisions of CCTV's Youth Singer Grand Prix and the Chinese Music Grand Prix. In terms of music creation, he composed the musical “Mulan” and the piece “Chinese Soul”, Created the theme song and score for the Bay Area 32 TV station's feature film "Silicon Valley Women", and adapted the large-scale choral work “Today Is Your Birthday”, which was featured on CCTV's The Same Song: Journey to America.
